It’s hard to believe that it was 25 years ago when I launched Havas Formula. At the time I was armed with one client, a used desk, 386 computer, and a dream of playing with the big boys in the world of PR. As each year passed, I continued to challenge myself and my team to think big, be creative, drive a strategic POV and always do what my dad told me to do when I launched: work hard and treat people fairly. Of course, I could have never accomplished all that we have without our amazing employees and the fantastic clients we serve. Thanks to everyone for 25 incredible, memory-filled years – and what we hope will be 25 more down the road.

Havas Formula Expands Monotype Partnership with Olapic Win  

Havas Formula has extended its relationship with client Monotype by adding the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Olapic, to its client roster. Olapic is a leading visual earned content platform for the curation, activation, and analysis of earned content. The company helps global brands amplify marketing and e-commerce channels with images and videos from real people, creating more personalized and powerful brand expressions. Havas Formula will launch a fully integrated public relations program consisting of thought leadership, product launches, customer stories, a speakers bureau, and an awards program. Leveraging its success with marketing professionals for Monotype, the team will raise awareness of Olapic’s earned content platform as a critical tool for today’s top marketers.

Havas Formula SD Adds Acxiom to its Client Portfolio

Havas Formula SD’s business and technology division recently added data giant Acxiom and its company LiveRamp, a leader in data onboarding, to its client roster. As their public relations agency of record, Havas Formula will execute a fully integrated program aimed at continuing to raise the visibility of both brands as thought leaders in marketing technology and people-based marketing. The program will incorporate thought leadership, awards, a speakers bureau, events and more. The addition of Acxiom and LiveRamp further augments the agency’s strong background in B-to-B and advertising technology.

Noble Vines Hosts 515 Rosé Launch in NYC  

Havas Formula LA recently planned and executed a socially charged happy hour event to support the launch of 515 Rosé, Noble Vines’ newest wine. -    Hosted at the charming Haven’s Kitchen in New York City, attendees were among the first to taste the new offering while exploring the art of food and wine pairing alongside the winegrower himself, Noble Vines Director of Viticulture Charlie Hossom. The event kicked off with a special toast at 5:15 p.m. accompanied by a spread of delicious canapes that were created to pair perfectly with 515 Rosé. High-profile contacts from key publications—including Bridal Guide, Cottages & Gardens, Essence, Rachael Ray Every Day, Shanken News Daily, and Somm in the City—attended the intimate event, driving real-time social buzz and subsequent editorial coverage.

TurboTax Empowers Latina Influencers During #WeAllGrow Summit

TurboTax, the No. 1 best-selling tax preparation software to file taxes online, is committed to empowering consumers and encouraging them to take control of their finances. To help convey this message to Hispanic consumers, the brand sponsored #WeAllGrow Summit, a three-day experiential networking conference for more than 400 Latina influencers. Leading up to the event, Havas FORMULATIN orchestrated a blogger contest in which 12 participants drafted an original post for a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the Summit in Long Beach. On-site, TurboTax hosted an interactive suite where influencers and bloggers had the opportunity to test the product via large touchscreens; speak with the brand team and ambassadors; and have professional headshots taken to further empower their careers as influencers. The event also included a massage session, happy hour and social media contest which helped generate 180 posts and 2.7 million targeted impressions for the brand.

‘ELLE’ Features KEVIN.MURPHY

KEVIN.MURPHY’s NIGHT.RIDER Maximum Control Texture Paste was featured in ELLE’s “2017 Beauty Genius Awards” in the April issue. The placement was a result of the influencer program driven by Havas Formula with celebrity hairstylist Justin German, who called out the styling product as one of his go-to products. ELLE is a worldwide lifestyle magazine of French origin that focuses on fashion, beauty, health and entertainment and boasts a circulation of 1.1 million. 

Chase for Business Leverages Influencers to Promote Startup Week Events

  JPMorgan Chase has been helping entrepreneurs and startup businesses make their professional dreams come true through its lead sponsorship of Startup Weeks in seven of its key U.S. markets. These week-long, free-and-open-to-all events offer tools, insights and networking opportunities to help aspiring and established entrepreneurs test their ideas and grow their businesses.  Havas Formula was tasked with executing a social influencer program to generate buzz and drive attendance to events in Tampa Bay and Phoenix. More than 100 social influencers were identified and vetted; ultimately, 37 were engaged to help promote the event and key sessions on their social media platforms. To ensure they stayed on message, Havas Formula created content memos for each market and worked closely with influencers to craft their posts. After more than 4,600 social media mentions and endorsement from local influencers, Chase for Business saw an increase in social conversation of eight percent in Tampa Bay and 12 percent in Phoenix. Additionally, positive sentiment increased from three percent to six percent and both events grew in attendance (Tampa Bay by 50 percent and Phoenix by 25 percent). 

Piper Collings Promoted to Associate Vice President   

Havas Formula LA’s Piper Collings was recently promoted to associate vice president, leading the social media division and strategic programs for her clients. Starting her career in Chicago on brands such as Unilever’s ice cream portfolio and Lipton, Collings made the jump to the West Coast to build Havas Formula’s social media offering from the ground up. Three years later, she continues to champion integrated programs across the agency and leads a creative and analytics team in programs for Panda Express, Bugaboo, SCAN, and Maui Jim, among others. Her passion for producing smart, creative content has helped her to build a strong, engaged team committed to delivering exceptional results for their clients. 

Jessica Weeg Elevated to Senior Account Supervisor

Jessica Weeg has been promoted to senior account supervisor in Havas Formula’s New York office. Since joining the company in 2014, Weeg has played an important role in managing key retainer accounts and projects as well as supporting new business efforts. With strong lifestyle experience, she has worked across travel, design and consumer product brands and is always focused on delivering results for her clients. In her current role, Weeg works on the Jaguar Land Rover team and is the lifestyle lead for PR activity with regular responsibilities including media relations, event management, design and asset production, and the ongoing support and development of junior team members.  

Chloe Zuanich Promoted to Account Supervisor

Havas Formula SD’s Chloe Zuanich has been promoted to account supervisor on the Consumer West team. Over the past four years, she has been an invaluable resource to her clients and team, demonstrating leadership, dedication, and exceptional client service. In addition to offering strategic and creative thinking on her programs, Zuanich consistently drives high-profile media results for all her clients, with recent placements appearing in Entrepreneur, Inc.com, The Talk, and more. In her new position, she will play a greater role in staff management and leading programs for clients including CHI-CHI’S, Art.com, a2 Milk, Kiddie Academy, and Reverie.
