Michael A. Olguin CEO

Outside of the office, Michael A. Olguin is known to travel more than a Jet Blue flight attendant, bleed SDSU Aztec Red & Black, and enjoy taking his ’65 Chevy Malibu for a spin with the top down in San Diego. An avid runner, he has completed seven marathons, yet he knows his way around a nice bottle of scotch and Cuban cigar.

Michael founded Havas Formula in 1992 as a national public relations boutique agency. A senior strategist with more than 30 years’ PR experience, he is equally versed in driving B-to-C and B-to-B programs for clients across consumer, lifestyle, high-tech, consumer technology, sports, entertainment, and travel categories. In addition to serving as Havas Formula’s leader, Michael expanded the agency’s offering with the creation and supervision of specialty divisions Havas FORMULATIN, Havas ATTN, Havas Trust and Havas Street, which offer Hispanic PR, social media and brand activation services, respectively.

Overseeing a nationwide staff of more approximately 200 employees in six offices—New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Denver and Miami—Michael splits his very full days across client strategy, leadership team management, and growing the agency through new business development. He is frequently featured as a PR expert in trade and business publications ranging from PRWeek, Ad Age, AdWeek, Entrepreneur and Inc., and as a speaker at industry events including PRSA International Conference and Hispanicize. Through Michael’s leadership and direction, Havas Formula has earned numerous awards and accolades for both client campaigns and agency success.

Alexis McCance CFO

When she’s not busy working in her many Excel spreadsheets, Alexis McCance enjoys playing golf and camping with her husband and two kids. The only one at Havas Formula to have her own private mini-fridge—stocked with beverage essentials Diet Coke and wine—this D.C. transplant can be found starting her mornings with French Vanilla Coffee and occasionally raiding the Havas Formula snack bar as a substitute for lunch.

Alexis has more than 20 years’ experience in the operations field and is principally responsible for working with the presidents in strategic planning for Havas Formula, Havas Street, Havas ATTN, Havas Trust and Havas FORMULATIN. Joining Havas Formula in 1999, she currently oversees the agency’s operations, accounting, human resources, and IT departments. Additionally, she plays a key role in optimizing the company’s structure.

As one of Havas Formula’s longest-standing employees, Alexis has dedicated herself to expanding the company’s business and improving the overall efficiency of operations. In her time at Havas Formula, she has grown her department from two to a 15-person team, expanding the accounting department and bringing HR and IT in-house. She also plays an integral role in sustaining a vibrant company culture and is always prepared for a last-minute BBQ or happy hour.

Emily Porter President

Emily Porter has nearly 20 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on building the profiles of both B-to-B and consumer brands. Known for her strong leadership, creativity, and problem-solving skills Emily has contributed significantly to the agency’s growth. Currently, she oversees five different groups at Havas Formula spanning high tech, consumer tech, industrial, consumer/QSR/retail, and emerging brands.

Since joining Havas Formula in 2006, Emily has helmed successful and award-winning programs for signature clients spanning numerous industries including financial services, manufacturing, transportation, enterprise software, CPG, housing and real estate, professional audio, and more. Her brand experience includes JP Morgan Chase, RE/MAX, Behr Process Corporation, KLA, Qualcomm, Canon, Shure, Panda Express, Smashburger, Nature’s Bakery, Merrell, and more.

Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Communications from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in Public Relations from Boston University. Beyond work, Emily loves spending time with her two kids, cooking, running on the daily, wine-tasting, and tinkering with her classic car.

Jarrod Walpert President

With more than 24 years of PR and marketing strategy experience, Jarrod serves as president of Havas Formula’s east region, overseeing several Consumer and B-to-B divisions, as well as the agency’s digital arm, Havas ATTN, and the agency’s creative and strategy team.

A seasoned strategist and storyteller, Jarrod is research-obsessed, utilizing actionable insights to develop brand positioning and program strategies that merge traditional, social and emerging media channels to help brands connect with target stakeholders. He has driven successful brand marketing programs for numerous high-profile consumer and lifestyle brands in a wide range of industries, from food and beverage, spirits and consumer packaged goods to travel/hospitality, luxury and automotive.

On a perpetual quest for further education, he earned his master’s in strategic communications from Columbia University and holds APR accreditation through the Public Relations Society of America. He is also recently certified as an integrative health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Tara Reid President
Tara Reid President

After having lived in Boston, New York City, L.A. and San Diego, Tara Reid left coastal living for the Midwest to launch Havas Formula’s Chicago office in 2016. While she has quickly developed a love for the Cubs and (somewhat) embraced (the fashions of) winter, Tara remains a California girl at heart. A mom of two boisterous boys, she often can be found spending time with them and her husband at the baseball field, building Legos or catching up on the latest episode of Paw Patrol.

Tara has been an agency PR practitioner for more than 15 years, developing and executing successful programs for clients across consumer, lifestyle and consumer technology verticals. Additionally, she has represented brands in such diverse categories as retail, food/nutrition, health and fitness, spirits, arts and entertainment, and business technology. As vice president of the agency’s Chicago office, she develops and implements strategic public relations programs for brands like Sears, Bertolli olive oil and Mike’s Hard Lemonade—managing everything from media events and product launches to influencer programs and co-branding partnerships.

Joining Havas Formula’s San Diego office in 2008, Tara advanced as associate vice president of the Consumer West division, representing clients like Kashi and Art.com. She then became vice president of the Consumer Technology division, overseeing brands like Monoprice, Boostcase and Sound United.

Tara provides her clients and team with daily counsel and program management while driving all activity across her accounts. With a proven track record spearheading creative, integrated programs that have increased brand awareness for her clients, her industry insights and thought leadership have established her as a trusted partner. Additional responsibilities include mentoring and supporting the professional development of her team while helping to drive new business growth for the agency overall.

Adrienne Cadena President
Adrienne Cadena President

Shortly after starting at Havas Formula in 2005, Adrienne Cadena helped to launch the agency’s brand activation arm, Havas Street. Now serving as its president, Adrienne played an instrumental role in driving Street’s dramatic growth and raising its profile to become one of the foremost activation agencies in the country.

In addition to her knack for business development, Adrienne has successfully created and managed programs for numerous high-profile consumer and lifestyle clients. Her work has included everything from sampling and experiential campaigns (Beam Suntory, Heineken USA, T-Mobile, Pepsi) and mobile marketing tours (Lego, Midland, Herdez) to large-scale activations (Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Wholly Guacamole) and creative publicity stunts and pop ups (J.P. Morgan Chase, Panda Express, edible, Nature’s Bakery).

Overseeing her team out of Los Angeles, Adrienne manages everything from creative concept development, strategy and program planning to program results, analysis and financial management. Always seeking ways to make Havas Street stand apart from the competition, she developed customized online reporting systems to track and measure programs, and she was instrumental in launching Havas Street’s internal recruiting department, which has vetted 25,000+ qualified brand ambassadors nationwide for client programs.

In 2015, Adrienne was awarded the 40 Under 40 Award by PRWeek. A University of Southern California graduate with a master’s degree in communication management, Adrienne serves on the board of advisors for The Center for PR, a group started within USC’s Annenberg School of Communication. In this capacity, she helps to connect corporations, agencies, academics and students to define the future of the industry and develop those who will shape it.

In her spare time, Adrienne likes to stay active by taking Pilates reformer classes, enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, volunteering at her daughters’ schools, and always cheers on her favorite teams – the Los Angeles Lakers and USC Trojans.

With 30 years’ experience developing award-winning public relations programs for her clients, Ditas Mauricio currently provides strategic leadership to Havas Formula’s newly created Amp’d division, guiding leading national consumer and B2B-focused companies and emerging businesses through everything from successful product launches to brand-building and integrated marketing experiences. Her work spans a wide range of respected, national brands across a variety of industries, including health/wellness, food/beverage, consumer packaged goods, home and décor, retail, and technology. Previously, she headed up the agency’s Consumer West division for nearly two decades, and earned her PR chops in the Greater Boston area working in both agency and corporate environments.

Anyone who works with Ditas knows she absolutely loves what she does and takes pride in helping her client partners and team members grow and succeed. As a result of several long-standing relationships, Ditas has developed a keen understanding of emerging businesses and what it takes to make them successful. Beyond affording her friendships with a stable of incredible marketing leaders, her work has also nurtured Ditas’ passion for natural products and her penchant for healthy living. Continuously pushing herself and her team to offer new insights and creative ideas, as well as closely follow industry trends, she seeks to educate her clients on best practices for consumer and influencer engagement programs that will ultimately drive purchase intent.

Since uprooting from New England nearly two decades ago, Ditas continues to delight in living along the coast and soaking up the San Diego sunshine. On weekends, Ditas can often be found cheering proudly on the volleyball sidelines for her two daughters or walking to the beach with her two dogs, Mochi and Louie.

Alexis prefers to run at a high speed at all times. When she’s away from her desk, you’ll likely find her doing all-out sprints at Orange Theory, racing down the snowy slopes of Breckenridge, Colo., or chasing after her two rambunctious young boys. Fitness, family and getting outdoors is what recharges this California beach girl turned Colorado explorer.

In her 17+ years of national PR agency experience, Alexis has led award-winning B2B and B2C programs that span numerous verticals including financial services, real estate, professional services, consumer technology, and CPG. Her passion and expertise are centered around creative ideation, strategic problem-solving, flawless program execution, and people-first leadership. Alexis helps to shape innovative plans and support divisions working on programs that include Chase, RE/MAX, Shure, Allegion, Criteo, Sun-Maid, Spindrift, and Justin’s—among others.

Alexis first joined Havas Formula in 2005 as an assistant account executive and later returned to the agency in 2017 as an associate vice president of the B2B practice. She was elevated to executive vice president in 2021. In her current role, she oversees the corporate and consumer practices within the Havas Formula Midwest hub as well as new market growth in Denver. Alexis is responsible for contributions to new business growth, client strategy, team mentorship and agency culture.

Katie Lippman has the kind of energy that could fuel a city. Her engaging personality and quick wit immediately put people at ease; but they soon learn that she also has a sharp business mind that’s always one step ahead. When not busy traveling (she’s grown accustomed to working on planes, trains and automobiles!), this Midwesterner at heart enjoys spending time with her husband and three little girls,  Ellie, Maggie and Annie.

Katie has more than 15 years’ experience in public relations, with strong expertise in mom brands, CPG, food/beverage, spirits, and health and wellness. As senior vice president of the consumer division based in New York, she provides strategic counsel, creative program development and account team management for clients including Bugaboo, Schlage, Maui Jim, Justin’s, Sun Basket, and Spindrift, among others.  She also plays an integral part in new business development efforts and driving agency growth.

Prior to transitioning to her current role, Katie held various positions at Havas Formula. She joined the agency in 2007, beginning in our San Diego office. Representing high-profile brands such as Kashi, she advanced to director of the consumer division before moving east in 2009. Katie assumed the post of associate vice president in Havas Formula NY’s lifestyle division, where she led program strategy and execution for clients such as SodaStream, Wyndham Hotel Group and Tribe Hummus before helping to launch the consumer division on the East Coast.

A tenured B-to-B technology marketing leader and former Havas Formula client, Anita joined the agency following extensive in-house experience at leading brands Qualcomm, Sony and Gateway. Providing senior-level strategic program and team leadership to drive outstanding results for high tech and B2B clients, she serves as a trusted advisor with broad-based perspective rooted in a multifaceted professional background.

Anita is avid traveler, lifelong swimmer, political junkie, Bravo TV fan, and occasional garden putterer. When she’s not working, Anita enjoys watching her middle schooler quarterback his flag football team and her high schooler progress her guitar-playing skills.

Taryn Finley is a creative, results-oriented leader with proven success in developing strategic, integrated programs. Taryn has always been fascinated by the mind and believes meaningful brand engagement and connection is only possible by first understanding audience psychographics. Majoring in cognitive science, she translated her love of people relations to a career in public relations.
Taryn brings a hybrid of agency and in-house expertise, having represented a wide spectrum of B-to-B and B-to-C brands that span lifestyle, fast casual/restaurant, food & beverage, health/wellness, film & entertainment, CPG, consumer technology, professional services, franchising, and retail industries. Since joining the agency in 2010, Taryn has held various positions at Havas Formula, beginning in our San Diego office on the business and technology division and then leading our PR division in Los Angeles for much of a decade, where she managed myriad flagship accounts like Panda Express, Dunkin’, Thrivent, Yelp, Sling Media, and Nature’s Bakery, among others.
After a year focused on agency growth, Taryn was promoted to senior vice president of Havas Formula’s Consumer West division. In this position, she leads strategy, budgeting, and program development, while mobilizing account teams to help today’s passion brands be differentiated and brave in a saturated marketplace.
A California native, Taryn now lives in the greater Portland area with her husband and son. She rounds out her days chasing after her very active toddler. Any rare moment to unwind is likely paired with a good glass of wine, sushi or quick Peloton ride, although not necessarily in that order.

Built of a curious nature, Mia isn’t deterred by things like getting lost it in the Andes, often filling her free time with hunting for antiquities or simply turning down alleys just to see where they lead. A former roller derby queen, she still enjoys physical challenges like gloving up for nine rounds of boxing and things on wheels, aka her ’65 Chevy Nova. And no adventure is complete without Wayne, her trusty St. Bernard and Bulldog mix sidekick.
 
Mia has collectively been with Havas Formula a decade, working closely with both emerging and internationally recognized sustainability, wellness, food and beverage, mobility, tech, travel and lifestyle brands to engage and win with key audiences. Over the years, she has had the good fortune of collaborating with brands such as Electra Bicycle Company, KEVIN.MURPHY, Norwegian Cruise Line, Bosch eBike Systems, Jaguar Land Rover, Dr Pepper and Heathrow.
 
Getting her start in public relations at Havas Formula (2001-2004), Mia served as the former PR director for a division of Procter & Gamble Beauty before launching her own boutique firm, West PR, which specialized in lifestyle brands such as Petco and All Across Africa.

Brandy Stone, or as we like to call her ‘Queen B’, is an award-winning, public relations and integrated marketing specialist with over 10 years of experience across CPG, B2B, tech, fashion, lifestyle, food/beverage, health, crisis, entertainment and more. With a deep passion and wealth of experience for working with challenger, new/emerging and prominent household brands, Brandy’s strategic communications approach goes beyond traditional media relations to create dynamic, disruptive, and meaningful campaigns. Based in Southern California, Brandy has been with Havas Formula since 2016 and currently leads the agency’s Consumer LA and Home/Industrial Divisions as Senior Vice President. Playing an integral role in helping her clients differentiate themselves in the marketplace, Brandy has experience working with a range of brands from emerging start-ups and family-owned businesses to category disruptors and Fortune 500 corporations. Beyond client service, Brandy is a true mentor at heart. She has a natural skill for fostering professional relationships that inspires the growth and development of others, as her positive energy/outlook towards this industry is unmatched. Brandy has a Masters of Arts in Communication Management from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Northridge.

Outside of work, Brandy would describe herself as an “experience seeker” – as she is someone who is always willing and interested in doing/having fun, living life to the fullest. It’s about the good vibes – so that includes anything from bottomless mimosas to Beyoncé.

John’s role at Havas Street has been constantly evolving since he joined the team in early 2016. Currently serving as an SVP, he helps to oversee the strategy and creative for client work while also advising the team in terms of the operations and logistics for client programming. Previously serving as the Operations Director for the division, John likes to stay involved, keeping an eye on the logistics including DOT regulations & compliance, leasing, and vendor management. Constantly seeking out cost and operational efficiencies for clients, Marchini also spearheads continuing education for the division which includes emerging trends and industry insights, along with ever changing regulations on the regional and national levels.
 
Over the course of his 15+ years in experiential marketing, he has worked on numerous national programs for clients including Hormel/MegaMex, KeVita (PepsiCo) and Beam Suntory. John has played an integral part in all facets of event activation from strategic planning and creative to in-the-field execution and management. With a focus on program logistics and operations, Marchini is constantly working with new technologies and vendors to ensure the consumer experience is as immersive and engaging as possible.
 
Currently living in El Segundo with his wife and two dogs, John can often be found in his woodshop where he crafts furniture, cutting boards, and other custom projects for friends and family. This inclination towards working with his hands has served him well in discussions with fabrication vendors as we build custom elements for our clients.

A hybrid strategic thinker, Lisa Ruiz-Rogers marries left-brain analytics and right-brain creativity to develop marketing solutions that engage consumers through branded entertainment, experiences and influencer marketing while delivering on ROI. Her extensive experience working across categories in brand strategy, entertainment and specializing in connecting brands with diverse populations in the U.S. through media relations, social media and community engagement, have broadened her perspective and diversified her skill set — enabling a holistic and integrated approach to managing and growing client business. She enjoys the planning, ideation and building of programs across multiple platforms, including but not limited to, brand positioning, messaging, social media, product integration, influencer partnerships, and content strategy.

Lisa flourishes both at the design and delivery stages of campaign activities – immersed in the trenches – listening, watching, engaging, executing. Over the course of her career, Lisa’s creative portfolio features serving as key PR campaign architect for some of the most beloved national and global consumer brands, including but not limited to, the iconic ‘got milk?’, Domino’s Pizza, and a multitude of P&G CPG brands – from the beloved Lovemark brand, Pampers, to the multi-award winning, record-breaking Mr. Clean Super Bowl campaign; to Swiffer, Febreze; and Dawn dish soap’s legacy cause-marketing initiative, Dawn Helps Save Wildlife.

Prior to joining the Havas Formula team as senior vice president overseeing Lifestyle East and FORMULATIN, Lisa previously led bilingual, bicultural PR campaigns for Chick-fil-A, California Strawberry Commission, DoorDash, Nike, Telemundo’s CSR initiative, ‘El Poder en Ti’, and most recently, the Alzheimer’s Association Music Moments campaign.

Ruiz-Rogers is a recognized thought-leader who has received multiple awards and honors for her work including an Effie, Drum Award for Multicultural Excellence, Global SABRE, ANA Multicultural Excellence, Silver Shorty for Good, Global SABRE, and multiple Gold SABRE, Silver Anvil, PR Week, PRSA Prism, REGGIE, and Big Apple honors.

Ruiz-Rogers was graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in English Literature & Language and a minor in Theatre Arts.

A Formula boomerang, Laura started her communications career with Havas Formula more than twelve years ago. A native Clevelander, Laura has been based in New York for nearly two decades including her time at Fordham University, where she obtained a degree in Political Science and Communications and Media Studies. She recently returned to Havas Formula to oversee the Kraft Heinz business where she supports the brands across the New York and Chicago offices.

Throughout her career, Laura has managed communications strategies for a wide range of clients and categories, spanning food and consumer products, beer, beer wine & spirits and travel & hospitality. She has driven global and US specific communications strategies for clients that include Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Stella Artois, Expedia and the Campari portfolio of brands, among others. 

An avid runner, Laura recently completed the New York City Marathon and is ready for round two! She credits much of her love of the sport to her early days at Formula when many in the New York office participated in weekly runs led by MAO.

Donovan Roche Vice President
Donovan Roche Vice President

Donovan Roche already used up his 15 minutes of fame appearing on the ‘90s dating TV show “Love Connection” (it was not). A total music hound, he enjoys frequently going to concerts and, since 2014, he has followed a tradition of attending a different music festival each year (he’s since crossed Coachella, KAABOO, Bottlerock, Outside Lands, Austin City Limits and Wonderfront off his bucket list). On most weekends you can find him blazing the many hiking trails throughout San Diego County – from Torrey Pines in Del Mar to Iron Mountain in Poway.

With 25 years’ experience in PR and marketing, Donovan heads the agency crisis practice, Havas Trust. He has spearheaded and managed numerous crisis communications efforts for clients in diverse industries, ranging from consumer and retail to healthcare and technology. Previous to his current role, Donovan served as vice president of growth and vice president of strategic services. In both positions, he played a pivotal part in business development and helping to grow the agency as well as internal/external agency communications, industry awards, staff mentorship and office-wide writing/editing services.

A former journalist and PRSA board member, Donovan is frequently published as a crisis and PR expert in business and trade publications including Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Inc., PRWeek, Adweek, MediaPost, Ragan.com, O’Dwyer’s and PR News Crisis Insider. Before entering the PR field, he spent 10 years as a writer and editor for publications including San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego Reader, and SLAMM (a lifestyle and music magazine he co-founded).

One of the only California natives in the office, Aaron appreciates his home state and sunny San Diego lifestyle where you can usually find him and his family at outdoor concerts, sporting events, hiking and camping. A world traveler and adventurous eater, he’s always one to highlight that the best way to experience a location and its culture is through the local food.
 
With his 20 years of Consumer Technology experience, Aaron has an in-depth knowledge and love for all things tech and audio having held both PR and Senior Marketing roles at iconic Consumer Tech and home entertainment brands such as Sony, Sound United and Pioneer Electronics. Aaron leverages the knowledge and experienced gained throughout his career to inform his strategic recommendations, program insights and multi-faceted approach for clients.
 
A former Havas Formula client, Aaron joined the agency to lead the newly formed Consumer Tech practice.

Alison Bruder Vice President

Chicago-native and die-hard Chicago (White Sox fan), Alison Bruder loves nearly everything about the city (minus maybe those negative degree winter days). When she’s not soaking up the time in the River North office, she can be found exploring new parks, farmer’s markets and restaurants and most frequently – in the stands at a White Sox game with her (Detroit Tigers-loving) husband and two kids (who are hopefully siding with mom).
 
Alison proudly holds 15 years of PR agency experience, with companies both large and small. At Havas Formula she leads the Chicago division and manages strategy and client counsel, as well as a talented team of staff. Through just two years at the agency, Alison connects teams and ideas to help make client work stronger.
 
Leading with empathy and confidence from a background that includes CPG, food, retail, home and professional services – and nearly every other industry in between – Alison brings a positive attitude and persistent curiosity and creativity to her work every day. Always up to support the team, she contributes to Havas Formula company culture – recently stepping in to help lead internal employee engagement programs. While finishing his undergraduate degree in Psychology, Roy Suko started a part time job helping a start-up company with their finances.  Little did he know at that time that it would end up changing his entire career path.  He discovered that he had a passion for helping people understand finances and financial reporting.
 
Returning to San Diego State to finish his Master’s Degree in Accounting opened up opportunities for him to work both at a regional accounting and auditing firms’ Moss Adams and to spend time oversees in the Cayman Islands working for Ernst & Young.  Working with an incredible group of individuals from around the world in the Cayman Islands helped develop his leadership skills and passion for developing diverse teams and providing the training and skills to others.   
 
When not dealing with spreadsheets and juggling financial deadlines Roy enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and enjoying wine and food (yes that is the correct order) with friends.

Tracy McMahon Vice President

Born in Indiana, and raised in Southern California, with a 5-year stopover in NYC, Tracy McMahon is the Director of Human Resources with over 20 years of experience. She joined Havas Formula in August 2016, where she oversees Talent Management and Acquisition. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Management and Human Resources from Cal Poly Pomona, and is certified by SHRM and HRCI. Her previous HR experience was in advertising, finance, non-profit, and biotech industries. She enjoys coming up with new and creative ways of developing current talent and building and maintaining a community culture of diverse, equitable and inclusive employees.
 
Tracy lives in San Diego with her partner and fur babies, Ollie, a Cavapoo, and Wednesday, a very rotund black cat. On the weekends you can find her exploring the city, walking Ollie, enjoying a Pilates class, or testing out a new vegan recipe.

Romey Louangvilay Vice President

When Romey isn’t overseeing earned media strategies for the Lifestyle East’s clients, he enjoys getting some aggression out to help him re-focus his energies. As an avid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai practitioner, he learned the importance of having these types of outlets to help bring the same tenacity to his work.

Never wanting to stay away from new challenges, Romey returns to Havas Formula after nearly 10 years as the Vice President of Lifestyle East, bringing additional learned experience from media relations campaigns with Bentley Motors, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, ASEAN Tourism, Soho House, LG Mobile, and several CFDA fashion designers.

He was last seen at Havas PR as a Senior Account Executive in 2012; Romey is excited to return with a new outlook on DEI’s role in PR and helping clients understand new mediums where their audiences receive their news.

When Romey’s not at work, he enjoys being a fur parent with his partner to their Korean Jindo rescue, Soju.

Kim Richards Vice President

Kim joined Havas Formula to lead a new and growing B-to-B division within the high-tech practice. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in public relations working at large international PR firms for B-to-B tech and biotech companies, at a nonprofit advancing technology in education, and as an entrepreneur running her own communications practice.

Kim spent 10 years working with K-16 schools, educational organizations, and community-minded companies such as UC San Diego Extension, Digital Promise and Illumina developing communication strategy, PR campaigns and CSR initiatives. She is regularly invited to share her communication work at universities and summits such as the WISE Summit for Education in Doha, Qatar, and the VH1 Save the Music Foundation in New York.

Following her entrepreneurial spirit, she also created a digital course, Leading with Clarity, to help leaders strengthen their communities, and built a cross-sector STEAM organization in California championing a holistic approach to education hosting annual summits with speakers from around the U.S.

A native San Diegan, you’ll often find Kim at the beach, practicing outdoor yoga or biking around town with her family.

Victoria Armas Vice President

SoCal Native, Victoria Armas, bleeds Dodger blue and is a self-proclaimed music enthusiast. Mother of 2 children and 2 Frenchies, Victoria enjoys family time at the beach and has a ‘thing’ for seafood and sushi. She likes to stay active taking exercise classes in muy thai, pilates, and most recently sought out yoga to help provide some balance to her busy schedule.

Working in the industry for 12+ years, Victoria truly understands what it takes to be successful in the field. Her career in field marketing started with Red Bull Energy drink where she worked as a brand ambassador, quickly working her way up to market and regional manager roles supporting brands such as Miller Brewing Company, New Balance, and HobNob Wines.

Victoria joined Havas Street in 2010 and has played an integral role in the day-to-day field operations for one of Havas largest clients, Heineken USA. Her get-it-done attitude and process implementation helped to increase the agencies scope on the Heineken business that began as a regional program soon evolving to a national program for the brand portfolio.

Having grown up in a large family, Victoria works hard to foster a family environment within her field teams encouraging best practice sharing and collaborative efforts. Leading a national structure, Victoria always has her finger on the pulse of all market happenings, whether it be a traditional sampling event in a neighborhood sports bar or an onsite activation at Coachella.

As an AVP, Victoria supports clients by helping to ensure consistency across markets, execution strategy, best-in-class reporting, KPI tracking, and budget management.
Victoria’s scrappiness, solutions, persistence and hardworking ways have made her a trusted “go-to” for all national field programs.

Houston raised and New York based, Stephen has been with Havas Formula since early 2021 and leads ATTN; the agency’s social and digital engagement division. He is a seasoned social, digital, and influencer marketing professional with over 7 years of experience across CPG, B2B, Tech, Fashion, Health, Beauty, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Food, Beverage, and Spirits industries. 
 
Irrespective of the client or industry, he is committed to finding data-driven creative solutions that help clients achieve and surpass their strategic objectives and campaign goals. He is passionate about maximizing the impact of social and digital media through smart optimizations, best practices, creative thinking, and bringing a client’s needs to life in a meaningful way.
 
Beyond client services, Stephen prides himself on being a good mentor and leader for his team. His number one priority is their success and wellbeing, and we all know a happy and supported team does the best work for its clients.
 
Outside of work, Stephen is an avid rock climber, video gamer, and outdoor enthusiast who loves to travel. He can often be found exploring his home borough of Brooklyn or hanging out at home with his partner.
 
He has a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre from Oklahoma City University and is often found singing in the shower or to his dog.

Outside of the fast-paced world of PR, Jamie Casarola spends the other part of her time in the fast-paced role of wife and mom—which she couldn’t love more. She’s a big fan of entertaining and throwing a killer theme party, but also loves balancing it all with relaxing (as relaxing as it can be with two little ones) days at the shore and a good glass of red or rose. Her family and friends fuel her drive and passion for life…along with the support of iced coffee, of course.
 
Jamie has just under a decade of experience developing and executing strategic and creative media relations programs, influencer campaigns and 360 degree marketing programs for a number of clients across the lifestyle, food / bev and CPG landscape. As associate vice president of the consumer division based in New York, Jamie provides client counsel, creative program ideation and development for her clients including method, Sunbasket, Maui Jim, Airwick and Ithaca among others, and manages and incredibly talented team. She enjoys not only bringing best-in-class programs to life for her clients, but mentoring the future of Havas Formula by sharing her history and wealth of agency knowledge.
 
As with many of our talented leadership team, Jamie started her career in PR with Havas Formula as a bright-eyed and driven intern back in 2013. She’s had incredible growth opportunities over the years and attributes her success to the many great mentors she’s been able to work alongside during her tenure at the agency. A true work hard play hard mentality, Jamie also takes pride in being part of the many company culture-driven initiatives launched over the years—never turning down a night of fun with her “Formula Fam.”

Leigh Powell Associate Vice President

Leigh Powell began her career at Havas Formula right out of college, which meant she only had to move down the hill from the University of San Diego to the company’s San Diego office. In the nearly 10 years since starting as an intern with the agency, she’s made up for that short commute by spending time in the New York and Chicago offices, and took the unique opportunity to spend one month in the Madrid office as a part of “Havas Lofts” – an agency exchange program.
 
With 10 years’ public relations experience, Leigh has been instrumental in driving program strategy, creative ideation and exceptional client results for both B2B and B2C brands. She has successfully led numerous earned and integrated campaigns with thoughtful strategy and counsel for clients including Shure, JPMorgan Chase, Sound United, Ormco, Suneva Medical and more. Leigh has worked closely with her mentors over the years to build and grow a team that now spans multiple cities and offices. Resourceful, calm under pressure and a problem-solver at heart, Leigh feels most successful when her team succeeds.  
 
When Leigh isn’t mastering the world of PR, you can find her spending time with her golden retriever, Sandy, traveling whenever possible, or following in her husband’s footsteps of becoming a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Chloe Zuanich Associate Vice President

Born and raised in Peru, Chloe Zuanich has a passion for exploring and immersing herself in new cultures, as evidenced by her love of travel. She loves to cook everything from scratch – from bread to pasta and mozzarella cheese – you name it, she’s cooked it. She’s an avid podcast listener, Peloton enthusiast, loves shopping for her wardrobe and home, and can’t resist a good dirty martini. Chloe is bilingual in English and Spanish.

With a decade’s worth of PR experience under her belt, Chloe has developed strong expertise in the QSR, consumer and lifestyle, health, entertainment, retail, and tech industries, among others. She has a passion for developing unique and creative campaigns for her clients and has managed day-to-day programs for brands like Rite Aid, Sears, Panda Express, Smashburger, and Merrell. Chloe’s vast skillset includes planning and execution of events, writing award submissions, brand messaging development, managing influencer programs, developing strategies for new product launches, and more. She is a strong mentor who deeply cares for the success of her team members, both professionally and personally.

Chloe is one of our most adaptable employees, having worked across several teams within the agency. She began her tenure at Havas Formula in 2013 as an intern in the San Diego office, moved to Chicago in 2017, and ultimately transitioned to Los Angeles in 2020. She was even selected to represent the agency internationally and worked in Havas Dublin in Ireland, helping launch the city’s first-ever Ice Bar activation. In her current role, Chloe oversees the Consumer LA division, playing a key role in program strategy and team development.

Amy MacFarlane Associate Vice President

Amy is a seasoned experiential marketer with previous experience in the adult beverage space on brands like Guinness, Absolut, Jose Cuervo and Dos Equis. Over the past 10 years, she helped build a successful 40+ market on-going experiential program for State Farm. Most recently, Amy spent the last year leading a small agency with clients such as Tim McGraw, ESPN, ACC, adidas, USA Today and NFL Green. Her recent work included overhauling the Atlantic Coast Conference’s fan experiences to be focused on sustainability, inclusion, philanthropy and health & wellness. Similarly, she managed a recent adidas program focused on the brand’s sustainable events and vision to elevate sport through philanthropy/inclusion practices.

Coming full circle, she is back in spirits leading the Jim Beam experiential business, overseeing client development, program creation, budget management and program strategy.

Paul Wilkie Associate Vice President
Paul Wilkie Associate Vice President

Paul Wilkie is an award-winning public relations specialist with more than 10 years’ experience in the consumer electronics, B2B, real estate, and lifestyle industries. Wilkie’s experience spans both in-house and agency roles, giving him invaluable insight designing and executing holistic marketing programs, including direct correlation with—and experience managing—executive leadership teams, supervisory boards, and investor stakeholders. In his role as Associate Vice President, Wilkie adds a layer of big picture strategy and a keen eye for emerging methods in which PR can create maximum value for his clients.

Wilkie began his career at Havas Formula in 2015 where he honed his skills elevating the company’s suite of consumer electronics brands. After transitioning to Sound United for four years, where he helped oversee the company’s transition to global powerhouse and designed the global PR operation from scratch, he rejoined Havas Formula in 2022 on the agency’s Industrial LA team to continue his PR growth.

Outside of work, Wilkie enjoys fast cars, loud music, writing, playing guitar, reading, and maintaining his 100-year-old home in San Diego. While his aging body resists, he is also an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast. Wilkie received his BA in Journalism from California State University, Chico, which empowered him with an impeccable palate for pale ales and outrageously strong lawn sports skills.

Todd Feitlin is an award-winning creative director and copywriter hailing from the great state of New Jersey. Over the course of his advertising life, Todd has worked at some of the most influential agencies in the industry and produced work across all mediums on a variety of iconic brands. Todd is always searching for and bringing creative inspiration and insight into how a brands greater purpose translates into culture-defining moments. He brings a unique and refreshing point of view to PR and earned media via his decades experience building brands, helping them find their voice and using it in unique and breakthrough ways.

When not spending time trying to make brands famous, Todd can be found at his home in New Jersey with his wife and dog, trying to answer the million questions his daughter has about the world, and enjoying every second of it.

Havas Formula utilizes three proprietary research panels to access keen insights into key vertical target consumers. Each panel enables us to better understand motivations, buying habits and brand knowledge, which we leverage to develop comprehensive public relations programs.

Modern Moms
By regularly conducting surveys and product sampling with more than 250 participating moms, we can tap into their personal interests — from what they like to wear to what they prefer to feed their kids — and use this knowledge to help us deliver messages, launch products, and share marketing materials that more accurately resonates with moms, who make the majority of purchases in any household.
The Collective
To gain a clear understanding of what millennials think, do, want or believe, we formed a national advisory panel of nearly 10,000 male and female consumers, ages 25-40, called The Collective. We can access this group on a moment’s notice to survey, gain insights or test concepts. Most importantly, our process allows us to ascertain what motivates them and what they believe in when it comes to supporting a brand.
